Koziol Family Portraits (14)
Could this family BE any cuter? I was honored and thrilled to take snapshots of the fabulous Koziol family over Christmas. These kids make me say "awww" every time I look through the album! -
Peter Crowley: Yoga Teacher, but not necessarily in that order. (24)
It wasn't a challenge to capture the essence of Boston Yoga Instructor Peter Crowley on the Congress Street Bridge and surrounding areas. A rare and a gifted yoga instructor and teacher, Peter stands taller than most of the buildings that surrounded us, be it on his hands or feet! Taking class with Peter has been compared to the experience of listening to a self-help CD - a really awesome, weightlessly lifting one. Being a loyal student of Peter's, I can testify to his genuine, authentic, and fantastic nature. Peter is a teacher first, and a yoga teacher second. -

Mary Lonergan and Greg Cowan: Beacon Hill Engagement Session (56)
You know that guy (or girl) that made your heart flutter in junior high? The one you maybe daydreamed of marrying and then lost touch with, only to find him or her on Facebook perhaps a decade later? Well, Mary Lonergan and Greg Cowan never lost those butterflies when they met in the 8th grade hallway, and by the time the couple weds in June 2013, they will have been together for 9.5 years! These Junior High School sweethearts give new meaning to going through it all together, and their friendship and partnership was a joy to photograph in beautiful Beacon Hill. -

Engagement photos - Nico Padden and Dan Vessely (32)
When Dan Vessely proposed to Nico Padden on April 28th 2012, she said yes - and so did I. No, not to the proposal, but to taking their engagement photos! My best friend of about three years, Nico told me about her boyfriend Dan when we had just met and they had been together for about four or five months. She was seeing stars – “I don’t know how I got so lucky,” she said. Not knowing how close Nico and I would eventually become, I soon got to know them as a couple and I, too, was forever changed. They say that once we know love in a certain way, we can never settle for anything less afterward. I would say the same applies to my friendship with this couple – in knowing love like theirs, I have been repeatedly graced with witnessing the kind of unconditional, human love that inspires and uplifts. My hope in photographing them was to convey their love and friendship to a viewer who hasn’t met them. They made it easy! -
Goldie Kaufenberg, Boston Yogi Extraordinaire, Goldieyoga.com (32)
Goldie Kaufenberg is no stranger to the spotlight, having recently led a yoga class of over 1000 yogis in the middle of Copley Square. When I needed a model to pose in brightly colored jewelry for a client, Goldie's bright and colorful nature came to mind as the perfect fit. An athlete since practically birth, she teaches yoga with some serious gusto all over the city. Find out where you can take her next class at Goldieyoga.com. -
Marian Daniells, Boston Globe Correspondant/Model-for-a-day (16)
A little over a year ago, Marian Daniells and I vacationed in the Bahamas for about a week, soaking up the rays and documenting almost every moment on my Canon rebel. As I examined what seemed like thousands of snapshots after our getaway, one thing was abundantly clear - this woman might just be the most photogenic person who ever graced the planet. A fellow journalist, Daniells works for The Boston Globe and writes with rare wit and humor that comes across in her expressions on camera. That being said, Marian was the obvious choice when I needed to summon someone to model jewelry for a client. For some of Marian's daily musings, check out www.mariandaniells.com. -

Over the last few years, I've used the photos in this gallery repeatedly for different projects. I'd hate to pick favorites, but these are them!
